The Department of Ophthalmology conducts grand rounds on the second Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. These lectures take place on the third floor of Gavin Herbert Eye Institute at the UCI campus in Irvine.

Two residents and a faculty member present cases on specific topics.

Grand Rounds are held for UCI Health and community physicians, as well as other healthcare professionals. Their purpose is to provide updates on the latest treatment modalities and research in ophthalmology.
